Thank you to Kilchoman Distillery, Iain Laurie and Rhinns Electrical for their generosity in helping meet the costs of the trip to the Cowal Championships. The band would like to say a big thank you to Alisdair Ross and Western Ferries for their generosity in providing free returns for the band on the ferry to Dunoon and a generous donation towards the extra costs for the bus.

*We would also like to give a special mention to Margaret Mary & Andrea of the Cala Sith Guest House, Port Ellen, who have supported the band both in terms of donations and in providing accomodation for mainland band members over the years and continue to do so - Thanks a million, we really do appreciate it!!

Thank you to Lodge Kildalton 552 for their very kind donation of £400 towards our funds.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Robert & Pauline MacKenzie and daughters

Karen & Rhona, who held a fundraising Celidh for the band in Glasgow at the end of April. It resulted in

a magificent donation of £1,200 towards band funds. Thank you so much!!

A huge thank you also to the 'Lions Club of Islay' for a donation of £500 and Ardbeg Distillery for £300 towards the purchase of rain capes for the youngsters.

Many thanks to Sigrid and Rene from Whisky and Dreams, Germany (on Islay for Feis Ile), who presented us with a cheque for £200 - an amount which they had kindly raised on our behalf.

Years dance resulted in this most welcome amount.

.September 2009: The band would like to thank George Jamieson and the Islay Royal Arch No.320, for the very generous donation of £1,500. This is a huge help to the band and will be put towards getting kilts, etc for

the young band.
